Grant Assistance

The Clark Enersen Partners has provided integrated architectural and engineering services for a number of clients in support of their applications for National Institutes of Health (NIH) Extramural Research Facilities Improvement Program (C06) and Core Facility Renovation, Repair and Improvement (G20) grants, National Science Foundation (NSF), HUD, HRSA, and NIST grants.  Many of these grants were funded by stimulus money from the Federal Government.  We recognize that these grant and stimulus programs offer an attractive and essential means to secure funds for the renovation or expansion of existing facilities, the construction of new facilities or the purchase of equipment.  Now more than ever, this funding mechanism is vitally important to the advancement of medical research and scientific endeavors.

Our experience with the grant application process indicates that the more thorough and the more concise we can be regarding necessary architectural and engineering work for the project, the better the odds for success.  In addition, the more integrated the facility modification work is with the overall grant submittal, the easier it is for the grant peer review team to review and understand the goals of the application.
