Rockhurst University Gross Anatomy Laboratory

Rockhurst University Gross Anatomy Laboratory

An existing classroom and under-utilized laboratory space on the 3rd Floor of the existing St. Ignatius Science Center was renovated into a state-of-the-art Gross Anatomy teaching laboratory which will serve both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as provide continuing education opportunities for local physical therapists. The finishes focused on materials which were easy to maintain and easy to clean, including epoxy flooring, epoxy wall coatings and solid surface casework. The project also featured updated technology including hospital-grade operating lights with integral cameras connected to LED HDTV flat-panel monitors at each operating table, as well as two LED HTDV monitors at the front of the room to aid with teaching and presentations.
